Whistler is easy to navigate with or without a vehicle.

Walking

If you prefer to explore at the pace of your own footsteps, the pedestrian-only Village Stroll allows easy walking access to all of Whistler’s renowned restaurants, shops, ski-lifts and accommodations. You can also utilize the Whistler Valley Trail, an extensive car-free network of trails that connects all neighbourhoods, lakes and parks from Function Junction in the south of town, to Emerald in the north. The Valley Trail is well-maintained and a pleasant way to get around. The paths are also well-lit in the evenings.

Public Transit

Public Transit is accessible all throughout Whistler as an easy low-cost way of getting around. There are also free daily shuttle services throughout Whistler Village and Blackcomb base. Visit Whistler Public Transit System for more information on routes and timing.

Taxis & Rideshare

Otherwise, taxi and rideshare options are also available. Bring your skis in a taxi with experienced drivers ready 24 hours a day. See Whistler Taxi Services or Whistle Rideshare to book your ride.

Parking

If you prefer to travel by rental car, there are plenty of places to park, with options for electric vehicles, motorcycles and RVs all throughout Whistler. Visit the Whistler Resort Municipality for more information regarding parking lot hours, permits and passes, and FAQs.
