Front Desk Agent
$22 per hour (to start)

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic staff to join our team who are here to ski, snowboard, mountain bike and enjoy their time in Whistler. All owner and guest check-ins are completed online. So for those looking to move away from a customer facing role will suit this well. One of our company values is pairing your skillset with responsibilities you’re interested in. YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- handling all online check-ins and check-outs
- answering calls and emails
- entering rental bookings, taking payment, communicating with guests to prepare them for their stay
- secure call-in rental bookings
- taking payments for annual dues
- communicate the day to day with team members
- confirm future bookings for owners
Houseperson
SALARY:
$22 per hour (to start)
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
To ensure owner and guest satisfaction by preparing housekeeping items and linens for units, assisting cleaning contractors, and using time effectively to manage frequent driving between properties.

AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
- Unloads laundry, prepares and delivers linen bags to 8 properties.
- Collects dirty laundry bags and helps Housekeeping team distribute heavier items.
- Responsible for organization and general cleans of storage areas.
- Maintains assigned company vehicles in good and presentable order.
- Communicates with all departments, including Management, on a daily basis.
- Inspects assigned rooms, and reports any problems found to Manager and/or other departments as needed.
- Liaises with cleaning contractors and provides assistance when required.
- Accepts deliveries of supplies and maintains inventory of supplies in storage area.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Starting Wage: $25/hour
Terms: Full-time (40hrs per week)
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Technician ensures that all assigned day-to-day maintenance is carried out in a safe and professional manner, is alert to Owner and Guest needs and helps make their stay the best possible experience. This role also ensures all work areas, vehicles and workshops are kept clean, safe and organized.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Performs and/or monitors maintenance and preventative maintenance projects.
- Responds to all unit safety concerns.
- Supports departmental maintenance programs and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
- Assist management in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations.
- Makes sure that all equipment and tools are maintained in a clean and workable condition.
- Deals with guest related concerns.
- Maintain the units in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure attractive and well-maintained units.
- Must possess knowledge of basic hand/power tool operation.
- Clean and maintain pool and spa areas.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous construction or resort maintenance.
- Valid driving license.
- At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
- Should have basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry concepts.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, coworkers and vendors.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 50 lbs and lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages, boxes, and luggage.
