Whether you’re looking to get fit, escape the elements or are just looking for some indoor family fun, Meadow Park Whistler is the place to be. The recreation centre boasts a variety of different facilities so there is something for everyone.
The swimming pool at Meadow Park Whistler offers zones for all levels of swimmers. Kids can have fun splashing around the leisure pool which features a lazy river and spraying bear statues. There is also a slide and a basketball net located in the lap pool. The 25-metre lap pool offers six lanes at varying swimming speeds. The pool facility also offers a hot tub, steam room and sauna.
In addition to the outdoor ice skating at Whistler Olympic Plaza, skaters can also head to Meadow Park Whistler for some fun on the ice. This indoor ice rink offers public skating and drop-in hockey sessions all on an NHL-size surface.
Enjoy Disco Nights with disco lights and music on the last Saturday of each month from 6:30 pm until 8 pm.
The 4,500-square-foot fitness centre offers all of the equipment you need to train including a cardio room, weight room and stretching area. There are a variety of fitness classes available as well as personal trainers.
Meadow Park Whistler also offers squash and basketball courts, as well as a multipurpose room that is available to rent for events such as birthday parties.
From Whistler Village, Meadow Park is about a 7-minute drive north on the Sea to Sky Highway. There is free 2-hour parking at the recreation centre.
By bus, Meadow Park can be accessed on the number 30 or 32 from Village Gateway or the Gondola Transit Exchange.
For non-motorized travellers, Meadow Park can be accessed on foot (about 1 hour) or by bike (about 15 minutes) by using the Valley Trail.
