There are so many fun events planned for this year’s New Year’s Eve celebration! From outdoor activities, fireworks displays and more, New Years in Whistler is guaranteed fun for the whole family.
Family Apres
12-5 pm
The fun starts right at noon at Whistler Olympic Plaza for a special edition of Family Apres from 12-5 pm. Lace up your skates and take a spin around the outdoor ice rink. Admission is free and rental skates are available for $6. There are also push bars available for those learning how to skate.
Have some fun playing on the giant snow mound in the middle of Whistler Olympic Plaza and take turns sliding down the hill and making your way through the tunnels.
Family Apres also offers hot cocoa, live entertainment and fun activities for the kids.

Whistler Conference Centre
12-7 pm
After some time playing in the snow, head over to the Whistler Conference Centre for some indoor fun at the Whistler Holiday Experience from 12-7 pm. Enjoy a wide range of indoor activities and entertainment including bouncy castles, mini-golf, live entertainers and more. Admission is free for everyone and delicious snacks and drinks are available for purchase in the Grand Foyer.
Skier’s Plaza
7:30-8 pm and 11:30-midnight
Round off the night with a jaw-dropping performance from some of Whistler’s best skiers and snowboarders during the Fire & Ice Show. Gather around Skier’s Plaza at the base of Whistler Mountain and watching in awe as athletes perform aerial tricks from a large jump through a ring of fire! Each show ends with a dazzling fireworks display.
