September in Whistler is the perfect time of year! It’s the perfect combination of summer and fall. The weather often remains agreeable well into the month, with temperatures averaging 20 degrees Celcius during the day in the valley. And as the kids go back to school and summer holidays finish up, the crowds begin to thin in Whistler sometimes making it feel as if you have the whole place to yourself.
One benefit of the ideal weather is that most of the summer activities remain open. Visitors can enjoy fun adventures such as ziplining, hiking and downhill mountain biking. If the weather does get a little wet, some activities such as the ATV and 4×4 tours can get even more exciting as long as you’re prepared to play in the mud!
