If you want to watch professional bobsleigh athletes compete, there’s no better place to do it than Whistler. Home to the fastest bobsleigh track in the world, head to Whistler’s Sliding Centre on Blackcomb Mountain on February 17 for BCBSA BC Cup #3 Bobsleigh & Skeleton. You can watch competitors speeding across the ice – most complete the course in under a minute. February also hosts the CLA Canadian Cup Luge on February 23 and you can watch both events for free.

You can’t get much more Canadian than a fun hockey filled weekend. The Roger’s Hometown Hockey Tour is a fun event for all the family where you can meet NHL hockey alumni, enjoy hockey-related games and listen to live music. If you’re looking for activities to keep the kids entertained, both Family Après and the Fire and Ice Show are perfect options. Family Après runs every Monday and Wednesday from 3 – 6 pm until March 27. Experience winter outdoor fun, and enjoy characters in costume, games, snacks and music. Wow your little ones with the Fire and Ice Show. Prepare to be impressed by professional skiers and snowboards, performing tricks whilst jumping through a burning ring on fire. Catch the show on Sundays at 7pm at the Skier’s Plaza at the base of Whistler Mountain.
