Whistler Farmers’ Market this Fall

For those wanting to experience Whistler like a local, why not visit Whistler’s open-air Farmers’ Market to snag some fresh produce and artisan goods. But you will have to be quick! The Farmer’s Market will be finished for the season on October 11th.

Every Sunday the Market runs from 11am-4pm, a short walk from the Upper Village along the Valley Trail. The Market is located in Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, meaning those looking for a family day out can stroll around the market and finish with an exploration of the cultural exhibits on the Squamish & Lil’wat Nation.

Using ink, watercolor and resin Kassandra Turmel takes inspiration from BC landscape to create dreamy canvases and prints. Kassandra also sells her own homemade natural inks if you’re wanting to find a more eco way to craft!

Kathleen Tennock Ceramic Studio

Kathleen Tennock is a Ceramic Artist who’s African upbringing runs through her art. Working mostly with clay, Kathleen leaves her work unglazed to encourage the visual and touch via tactile textures.

Golden Crust

The family run bakery of Golden Crust were one of the five original vendors that began Whistler’s Farmers’ Market. Pick up one of their ‘pocket pies’, fruity flavors surrounded in flaky pastry make for a lovely treat whilst strolling round the rest of the market.

Whistler Elixir

Kombucha is a firm favorite in Whistler and with our own brewers, Whistler Elixir, just down in Function, we have the pick of the raw and unfiltered craft kombucha tea made in small batches with the finest organic ingredients.

Playlist Lavender

Playlist Lavender focuses on creating spray free lavender products, all handmade by Joan at the family farm located in Naramata, BC. The farm cultivates four different varieties of lavender and even sells a variety of fruits in the summer months.

Siiri & Stone

Locally designed jewelry, Siiri & Stone uses 925 sterling silver and natural semi-precious gemstones to create delicate trinkets. Siiri finds her inspiration from the outdoors to make jewelry that reflects her adventurous soul.

Laughing Crow Organics

Laughing Crow Organics pride themselves on being a quality driven Certified Organic Vegetable Farm. All food is grown in a sustainable with a variety of 40 different vegetables. Laughing Crow Organics also offers season cut flower bouquets, grab the beautiful sunflowers that are currently in season.

Hare’s Farm, Pemberton Organic Blueberries

For family grown, local produce, Hare’s Farm offers three varieties of juicy blueberries. All varieties are certified organic, avoiding those nasty pesticides to provide the tastiest fresh berries!
