Nestled in the beautiful coastal mountains of British Columbia, Whistler is just a few hours’ drive from Vancouver. There are a few options to get you to your condo. We can book all of your transportation needs. Please contact our front desk.
By Air
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is the closest major airport to Whistler, located around 2-3 hours away. We recommend pre-booking a shuttle, private transfer, or rental car to bring you the rest of the way to Whistler. For a unique travelling experience in fairer weather, you can also book a flight from Vancouver with Harbour Air Seaplanes.
Shuttle Bus
There are numerous shuttle bus companies operating from the Airport and from Downtown Vancouver. Be sure to request that they stop in at our Welcome Centre to check-in before they take you to your accommodation.
Private Transfer
Want to step up your trip to Whistler? Consider a private transfer. Private transfer gives you the flexibility to make stops along the way on the Sea to Sky Highway. There are many excellent companies offering limousine service, SUV and sprinter van options, and more.
By Car
Venture to Whistler via the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99), a beautiful but windy Mountain Highway. The highway was upgraded and widened prior to the 2010 Winter Olympics and offers beautiful views across Howe Sound. Remember to take care when driving, and ensure winter tires have been installed on your vehicle if you are travelling between 1 October – 31 March.

How To Get Around Whistler
Undoubtedly, the easiest way to get around most of Whistler is by foot. Whistler Village and the Upper Village have mostly pedestrian walkways. There is also an extensive system of trails that links Whistler Village and the Upper Village to many parks, golf courses, and more in other parts of the valley. Other ways to get around Whistler.
By Bike or e-Bike
During the summer months, there are many bike rental places you can go to if you want to bike around Whistler. The paved Valley Trail connects almost all of the areas within and around Whistler. In Whistler, our favorite bike rental company is Coastal Culture in Whistler Creekside or Fanatyk Co in the Village. We recommend locally-owned and operated businesses – support local!
By Bus
Whistler’s public transit system is operated by BC Transit The shuttle from Whistler Village to Upper Village & Village North is free. To find more information about fares and routes, please visit the BC Transit website.
By Taxi or Whistle!
Whistler is easy to get around, but if you want someone to drive you, you can always reach out to Whistler Taxi. It’s pretty reasonable to travel from Whistler Creekside to Whistler Village for under $15.
Things to Keep in Mind When You’re…
If you’re visiting in the summer, temperatures can be very warm (up to 40 Celsius or 104 Fahrenheit), so make sure to bring your summer clothes. However, weather can cool down to the 15 Celsius or low 60s Fahrenheit, so it may be good to pack a few extra layers and different shoes. If you forget to pack something, don’t worry, all of our shops carry everything you’ll need for every type of weather! Or course, Winter is another story entirely. Check the forecast, be prepared!

All prices for everything are in Canadian Dollars, so be sure to know this when using your credit card or purchasing using cash. Some places will take American cash, but your best exchange rate will likely be with your bank.

Going on an Adventure
We do not recommend going out of bounds when exploring Whistler/Blackcomb mountains, whether it’s on foot, by bike, or by ski/snowboard. Never ride on the mountain alone. You must take responsibility and know that accidents do happen, but you must decide if it is safe.
