Museums

Want to talk a walk through history? Whistler has several museums to choose from!

You can learn from local Indigenous peoples about their rich histories in the shared territories of the Skw̲xw̲ú7mesh and Lílw̓at nations. Tours are offered daily on the hour, every hour between 10 am – 4 pm, Tuesday through Sunday!
      • Another wonderful option is the Audain Art Museum. Move Your Body

Just because it’s raining outside, doesn’t mean you can’t break a sweat in Whistler! One of our favourite local gyms happens to be The Core Whistler. While the Core offers fitness classes & gym equipment, the real draw for us is the indoor climbing wall. You can boulder or rope up, even use the auto-belay if you don’t feel like doing a trust exercise with your partner! If you’re new to climbing, hire a professional to help out and show you the ropes. Learn more about their rates & offerings here.

Events

To say we’re excited about the return of in-person events is an understatement! Two of our favourite events are back in Whistler: Cornucopia and the Whistler Film Festival.

Cornucopia is the True North of food & drink festivals – a place of culinary reckonings, where the wild meets the refined and the epic and the Epicurious come together. Cornucopia embraces the palate, the plate, and the Pacific North West. This is a weekend-only event running throughout November. You can find more information about the schedule here and learn about our partnership & accommodation specials here.

Another incredible event for you and your loved one is The Whistler Film Festival. It will present up to 40 feature films and five short film programmes, including Oscar-contenders, breakthrough Canadian films and award-winning stories from around the globe. Filmmakers will have the opportunity to showcase their films to engaged audiences in the intimate, in-person settings they love. Passes and tickets are available for purchase here. The in-person event runs November 30th to December 4th, and you can save on your accommodation by booking with us! Learn more about our promotion here.
